REAT was born out of a shared sense of purpose among a group of close friends who believed in giving back.

Our journey began in 1990, when a few young minds from modest backgrounds met at an engineering college in Maharashtra. United by ambition and struggle, we formed a bond that would last a lifetime.

After graduating in 1994, life took each of us in different directions. Decades later, we reunited — not just to reminisce, but to reflect on our roots and the challenges we once faced. Amid the beaches and buzz of Goa, our conversations turned to something deeper: individual social responsibility.

What started as a casual gathering turned into a mission. Two years of thoughtful dialogue led to the birth of REAT — a trust dedicated to improving rural education in India. What binds us today is not just friendship, but a commitment to help the next generation rise, just as we once did.
